An angiogenesis study compared cell-culture findings with muscle and tendon injury models. The investigators did not find a direct angiogenic effect in their cell cultures, while tissue-level measurements in injured animals showed different patterns associated with repair.
How to interpret the findings
The difference between these models matters: a context-dependent tissue response should not be simplified into a universal mechanism. This publication studied BPC-157 and does not establish claims for a separately named analogue such as PDA.
