What the research examined
A clinical investigation of a specifically identified GHRH analogue examined endocrine and metabolic measurements in older men and women. The reported responses differed by sex and by endpoint, illustrating why an overall description of an anabolic effect can obscure important variation.
How to interpret the findings
The studied analogue was [Nle27]GHRH-(1-29)-NH2. Its results should not be automatically attributed to every preparation called sermorelin. A small study with several endpoints cannot establish a general anti-aging effect.
