What the research examined
Two reviews discuss the clinical and experimental literature on copper sensitization. They describe uncommon but documented reactions and distinguish several forms of exposure. The reviewed populations and materials vary substantially.
How to interpret the findings
Evidence about copper metal, dental materials, or other copper-containing objects is not a product-specific safety study of AHK-Cu or GHK-Cu. A low frequency in selected reports also cannot establish that every copper complex is safe.
