What the research examined
An early fibroblast experiment reported altered collagen synthesis with GHK-Cu. A separate randomized clinical study assessed skin outcomes after laser resurfacing. In that trial, objective evaluations did not show a significant between-group improvement in wrinkles or overall skin quality, although patient satisfaction differed.
How to interpret the findings
Laboratory collagen measurements and patient satisfaction are different endpoints. Neither should be substituted for an objective clinical result, and findings from a specific formulation and setting do not apply automatically to other preparations.
