What the research examined
A small human investigation measured short-term cardiac responses to hexarelin. Separate experimental work examined CD36-related effects in animal-heart models, including coronary-pressure changes. These studies address different questions and cannot be combined into a single claim of cardiovascular benefit.
How to interpret the findings
An acute change in a cardiac measurement is not evidence of fewer clinical events or sustained functional improvement. Findings in isolated or animal systems also cannot establish long-term safety in people.
